Our next client story is that of the full-hearted Kate McGregor, Founder of Fox Private Travel, who joined us on retreat earlier this year and for one of our life-changing Mental Fitness courses. 1.What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
One of my learnings through my work with Rosy and Maren is to not be scared of failing - to journey through life with open arms and an open heart and see what happens!
2.What three things are "non-negotiables" for you?
Kindness - where are we all without this!
Loyalty - I am so lucky to have amazing friends, family and colleagues, who champion each other and are fiercely loyal.
Joy - a sense of fun, humour, and approaching life with a little 'living la dolce vita!' Life can feel heavy at times - and I find a little bit of this can go a long way.
3.What is the biggest lie your Inner Saboteur tells you?
That I am not good enough - I took part in Tapestry's Marrakech retreat in April of this year - taking the time out, slowing down to speed up, made a huge difference in me not only recognising how much this impacted me, but methods to dial it down when it does flare up!
4.What is your greatest failure and the greatest gift it gave?
My biggest learning from the amazing Tapestry Mental Fitness course I took was being able to take learnings and gifts from the hardest failures and most negative experiences. This can be hard to apply to everything, but I try not to see failure as a concept anymore!
5. What one piece of Sage advice would you give to a future Tapestry participant?
To take the pressure off - before I started I made multiple promises to myself - I won't check my phone between 8am and 8pm to properly switch off, I will do all the suggested reading, all the meditations etc. Go in with an open mind, without pressure, and see what magic comes your way!
